Hello lovelies! It's such a dreary day here, after such a glorious sunny day yesterday. I spent most of the day clearing out my studio and organising fabric, so I was glad of the weather, which allowed me to well and truly spread out into the garden! A good thing when your studio is as teeny as mine!
I have so many lovely fabrics now and my fingers are itching to get started on my new collection of bags and other goodies, ready for Christmas sales and the launch of my new online shop later this year! (I'll keep you posted on that one too!)
I thought I would cheer us all up today by doing a little give away. I love making dolls, as I have written about before. It's an opportunity to use some of the pretty fabrics I have and make something that will hopefully be cherished for years to come.
Today I'm giving away one of my favourite little dolls. She has a sweet blue and pink removable dress and turquoise trousers and her hair is pinned back with two little crochet flowers. The only thing she's missing is a name!
So, if you'd like to win her, please tell me what you think she should be called in the comments below and if you can, link to this page on your Facebook page or Twitter feed. The names will all be put in a hat and I'll get one of the boys to pick one out on Sunday 16th September before I whisk them off to bed! I will announce the winner on Monday morning and will then need them to contact me with their details. Can't wait to hear your suggestions! If you have any trouble commenting please email me at redeem@btinternet.com
Please be aware that my dolls are made from pre-loved materials, which is part of their charm and the crochet flowers and buttons could be a choking hazard for small children.
I think she looks like a Freya!
